hi Kadus Mama, there is one mommy blogger here whose kids are infected with HFMD but i cannot recall which mummy already.. i m so sorry.. poor memory of mine and going thru too many blogs.. but last time when my son kena ulcer a lot in the mouth, the doc asked me to give him 7UP or sprite.. to cool the body system down and also to allow him more fluids in the body as well..

Ty, I wonder if Spirulina can do the wonder to kasi cepat the healing process since I read that alkaline foods are good at doing that. Try to find those Spirulina drinks, kasi sejuk dulu or perhaps ko boleh buat ice cubes out of them la. or make ABC like that ka.. but that only if Isaac suka tu spirulina la.

I never give aspirin to them..don't worry....sebab sia pun alergik sama aspirin..hehehe
Luckily, Isaac macam ok2 sudah sia tingu tu..dia dapat juga makan maggi semalam (dia tia mau makan nasi coz' cannot swallow itu nasi)..and he ate lotssss of yogurt (which is good kan?)

Little Inbox ~ From the article i read, no meds for HFMD, but dr did give paracetamol syrup to ease the fever and some meds for the ulcer..I hope they will recover soon too..

My youngest son masa dia umur 3 tahun kana dis HFMD. Memang terukla the ulcers dlm mulut dia, doctor oso recommended icecream and cold milk. Make sure jangan bagi diorang aspirin (for kids under 10yrs).

I took him to a pediatrician and she gave me some ubat titik to be put in the mouth. I think about 1-2 weeks dia pun beransur baik.

Just keep an eye on both of them and kalau teda perubahan bawa lagi pi jumpa doktor.

Oh man! I hope they get well soon. It's always worrying when kids get sick.

I know how Isaac feels. Years ago, my younger boy contracted something like this and it was so pitiful seeing him only smell the food yet he can't eat it.

I pray both your kids get well soon.
